Why not just use your own phone?
Calling an unknown number back from your own phone hands the caller your real number — and confirms it’s a live line that answers. That gets you sold to more scammers, piled onto robocall lists, and even spoofed to scam other people. Safe Callback places the call through our number and can disguise your voice live, so a scammer never learns who you are or how to reach you again. No free tool (not *67, not Google Voice) hides your number and your voice.
How it works
- Look it up first — paste the number into our phone lookup to see if it’s a known scam before you call.
- Add a little credit — calls are pay-as-you-go, so there’s nothing to abuse and no subscription.
- Call from your browser — no app or SIM. We place the call and show our number as caller ID, so your real number is never revealed.
Why it’s paid (and fair)
Connecting a browser to a real phone line costs a small per-minute carrier fee — “free” calling apps just cover it with ads. We charge a small, transparent amount instead. It also keeps the tool safe: because every call costs real money on a verified card, it can’t be used for spam or harassment.
The rules (for everyone’s safety)
- US numbers only — no premium-rate (900), service codes, or international.
- Calls are capped in length, and credit is metered by the minute.
- No call recording. Use it to safely return calls — not to harass anyone.
